Tropical low 02U or TC 03S will strengthen some as it tracks southeastward Thursday night into Friday and can strike the Pilbara coast as a tropical storm equivalent on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale later Friday, local time. Regardless of intensity at landfall, this feature is expected to bring heavy rain and the risk of flooding to the Pilbara region and western Kimberley region of Western Australia Friday into early Saturday. This feature can produce rain, some heavy, in southeastern Western Australia and western South Australia Friday night into Sunday, local time
